Job description

The White Bull (Lancashire pubs Ltd) in Oswaldtwistle are recruiting for an Apprentice Front Of House Assistant. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Hospitality Team Member qualification which will take approximately 16 months to complete.

Job Duties Include:
• Set up the bar
• Check table numbers and bookings
• Check all glasses are clean
• Maintenance on all drink machines
• Ensure all condiments are full on tables
• Cutlery polishing
• Cutting fresh fruit for the bar
• Eventually cellar management
• Serving food, supporting the kitchen staff
• Customer facing, taking orders and payments
• Serving alcoholic drinks (if age 18+)
• Clearing tables, setting up new tables
• General housekeeping within the restaurant
• Greeting customers.

Requirements:
• Friendly and approachable
• Clean, hygienic and presentable
• Good levels of English and Maths
• Listening and Communication skills
• Must have a desire working within the Hospitality industry
• Willingness to learn and work
• Confident speaking with the public
• Problem solving
• Able work under pressure.

Hours:
Rota basis Earliest start time 10am - Latest finish 9pm / 1 hour break / 30 hours (potential increase of hours)
