Job description

You will support the practice as directed by the Managers in the delivery of administrative, systems and premises support for the practice. Job Responsibilities Be point of contact for day to day Premises and IT/Systems queries for all practice staff Point of contact for our clinical system (EMIS Web) and other supporting IT systems Support delivery of projects when required Participate in audit/data where appropriate and produce reports as required. Administer projects when required, to include actions, agendas, data collection, surveys, collation of data Escalate issues efficiently, appropriately and professionally Work closely with the Deputy Practice Manager on the CQRS & claim monthly submissions as instructed.. Effectively manage the nominated areas of responsibility as allocated. Undertake effective professional development as necessary to keep up to date with current requirements and in line with Practice policy. Arranging training/meetings as required to support implementation/ delivery of IT systems/ projects Cleansing and updating EMIS and the L-Drive Provide staff training on IT systems as and when required Equipment inventory Caldicott, Information Governance, & Data Protection & GDPR Maintain website Accurx Appointment data analysis Project analysing Cyber protection Setting up of laptops for remote working when required Facilities Responsibilities Quality Alert other team members to issues of quality and risk. Assess own performance and take accountability for own actions, either directly or under supervision. Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the teams performance. Effectively manage own time and workload. Respond professionally to queries within a timely manner Ensure staff feel supported with Facilities, IT and systems issues Ensure excellent communication with all staff Contribution to the Implementation of Services Aid the Department Managers and staff in the roll out of It systems/processes Have a working knowledge, and contribute to Surgery handbooks, internal policies and procedures where relevant Be conversant with and implement the Health and Safety at Work Act, Employment Law, The Data Protection Act and other legislation relative to the role. Be conversant with the CQC outcomes in relation to your area(s) of work and ensure they are complied with. Undertake any relevant training as required relating to organisational standards and changes to software or systems. Develop harmonious and effective relationships across all practice teams and with patients. Undertake effective professional development as necessary to keep up to date with current requirements and in line with Practice policy. Apply Practice policies, standards and guidance. Discuss with other members of the team how the policies, standards and guidelines will affect own work. Infection Prevention & Control In accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008, the post holder will actively participate in the prevention and control of infection within the capacity of their role. The Act requires the post holder to attend infection prevention and control training on induction and at regular updates, and to take responsibility for the practical application of the training in the course of their work. Infection prevention and control must be included in any personal development plan or appraisal.
