The purpose of this Finance Graduate role is to develop your analytical skills, by supporting the local performance management and compliance framework. You will learn to reverse engineer processes and how every part of our day-to-day doings can have a financial impact which will give you a good end to end understanding of the organization from Sales to Engineering. You will have the opportunity to collaborate beyond the UK&I for margin improvement projects. You will have the opportunity to pursue a CIMA qualification alongside your work to set you up for a successful career in Finance at Philips.
Your role & responsibilities:
You are a part of the Finance organization UK&I and will support the local Sales and Business Teams. In this role you will report into the Finance Zone Business Partner UK&I.
In addition, you will be part of the Philips Graduate Development Programme (GDP – Finance track) which is designed to discover future business leaders and incorporate you into the Philips business where your new ideas and passion will shape the Philips business of tomorrow. You will have strong support networks with business managers, mentors and previous graduates. Your cohort will start in September 2024 and will be supported with a comprehensive personal development plan over the two-year scheme.
Although you will be globally mobile, you will initially be based at our UK headquarters in Farnborough, Hampshire (hybrid way of working) for the first 2 years. You may occasionally be required to travel locally and sometimes abroad. Our headquarters in Farnborough is a vibrant and exciting (professionally and socially) place to be based and you will have the opportunity to network with the wider organization.
