Job description

We are delighted to be working with a growing business based in South Cambridge as they seek to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team. This role has become available due to an internal promotion, and within the role you will report into the Financial Controller. You will manage a small team of 3, and due to the nature of the role, you will be mostly office based with ad hoc flexibility to work from home available for the right candidate.


As the incoming Finance Manager, you will tasked with the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Preparing financial reports
- Assisting with month end management accounts
- Overseeing Payroll processes
- Reviewing costing and identifying improvements
- Lead on the development of the team members


As the successful candidate you will have previous experience working in a similar level Finance Manager role, with strong managerial experience. You will also have good all round knowledge of accounting procedures and processes. Other desirable attributes include:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong system and excel knowledge
- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
