Job description

Commercial Electrical Engineer

Rubix M&E are working with a fantastic, growing company in the Building Services sector and are seeking Commercial Electrical Engineers to join their friendly, growing team.

Based in their offices in the Essex but working on client sites around the East Anglia and Home Counties regions, you will diagnose and rectify faults, upgrades, finals, and any maintenance duties in accordance with contract specification, technical drawings and 18th Edition requirements. You'll perform full Test and Inspection on all works and the correct completion of NICEIC certification in preparation for Supervisor authorisation and operate within the appropriate Health & Safety regulations ensuring the working environment, property and occupants are safe and secure at all times

You will need to be able to demonstrate significant Electrical Engineer experience. In particular, you'll have a minimum 2 years' experience as a fully qualified Electrician and have experience of Testing and Inspection, reading and interpreting specifications and drawings You'll be familiar with NICEIC requirements and have exceptional communication and organisational skills, and able to work in a methodical and calm manner. You'll possess excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, and able to work under pressure to achieve required Client Service Level's and KPIs.

You will also have the following qualifications
City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 or equivalent NVQ Level 3,
City & Guilds 2382 18th edition
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 Test and Inspection Qualification
Minimum 2 years' experience in Electrical installation condition reports
