Northern College of Acupuncture Registered Charity Number:Engagement and Admissions Administrator role:Were looking for someone to work with our Marketing and Admissions Manager to take potential students through the course enquiry and application process using a combination of highlevel communication skills effective and proactive engagement and accurate recordkeeping and data management skills. Our process includes talking to enquirers answering their questions providing information and building a relationship to guide them to find the best pathway for them to study at the College. You will be helping them to navigate the journey from application to becoming a student. Later in the process you will be involved in some weekend and evening working at inperson and online introductory events onetoone online video calls organising interviews and maintaining ongoing communications until the person commences their studies.The College:Our College is a small independent teaching institution and educational charity registered with the Office for Students. We have been educating students since 1988. We are based in a large Georgian townhouse in the centre of York with excellent transport links. We currently offer a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture and also MScs in Nutrition and Chinese Herbal Medicine. We recruit 65 to 100 students to these courses each year. Its a niche market which is well understood and we have a range of new initiatives in progress. In addition our busy and wellrespected teaching clinics provide subsidised acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine treatment and nutritional advice for the local community. Our ideal candidate:Excellent communication skills.Resultsdriven.Personable outgoing & friendly.Motivated.Accurate at recordkeeping.High level of organisation and planning skills.Excellent standard of English (written and spoken). Is skilled with Microsoft Office suite particularly Word Outlook and Excel. Can manage a project from start to finish and work to deadlines. Can communicate new and complex information effectively both verbally and in writing engaging the interest and enthusiasm of the target audience. Can plan manage and organise their own time. Works effectively in a team.Key Responsibilities:1. Engaging with potential students; answering their questions and providing information by phone text message email and online video call.2. Keeping accurate records for all enquiries using Salesforce.3. Assisting with the processing of applications offers acceptances and ongoing communications with starting students as they prepare for study.4. Assisting with planning and preparation for introductory events.5. Assisting at College introductory events (up to six Saturdays per year).6. Running/assisting with evening Q&A sessions (up to six times per year).7. Proofing of marketing communications. Job Type: Parttime 16 hours per week worked over 34 days (six of these hours must be worked on a Friday).
