Senior Project Manager – Onshore Wind

Leap29 have a fantastic opportunity available for a Senior Project Manager to spearhead the identification and development of new land opportunities for new wind energy projects. From initial site selection to pre-construction, you'll play a pivotal role in our mission.

Your role will involve close collaboration with a diverse team across the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Germany, bringing together expertise from various disciplines.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of wind/hybrid energy projects, incorporating diverse technologies as needed, guiding them from site scouting and feasibility assessment to pre-construction phases.
2. Negotiate option agreements and leases with landowners, agents, and legal representatives.
3. Manage and coordinate the planning application process, from pre-application consultation to the preparation of necessary documents.
4. Collaborate with technical leads from different departments to optimize development sites based on site parameters.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in planning, environmental studies, land management, or engineering. Minimum of 5+ years of post-qualification experience, with a strong understanding of site assessment and the planning application process, particularly in the context of major renewable energy projects. Proficiency in option and land lease agreements. Exceptional communication and project management skills, enabling effective interaction with senior management and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
