We’re working exclusively with one of the UK’s largest emergency services to appoint a new Environmental & Sustainability Advisor. In this in-house role, you will support the Head of Sustainability in delivering the environmental and sustainability strategy. With a clear path for progression, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of their sustainability strategy and to reduce their environmental impact. In this highly rewarding position, you’ll have a unique opportunity to make a real difference. Working as part of Property Services, the Environment and Sustainability Team is responsible for coordinating environmental activities across other departments and business groups. You’ll also engage with their biodiversity and wildlife programmes, working towards their climate adaptation goals and monitoring the supply chain emissions. The main responsibilities of the role will be:

• Implementing the Environmental Management System aligned to ISO 14001.
• Playing a leading role in developing the organisation’s environmental and sustainability strategy.
• Overseeing awareness campaigns within the organisation.
• Representing the organisation at external events.

My client is looking for someone with at least 3 years of relevant experience, and a proactive approach to working . As the Environmental & Sustainability Advisor, you will be London based, and this client is offering a salary of �42,000 - �52,000, with a very generous competitive benefits package.
