Job description

SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Ruishton Primary School part of The Oak Partnership seeks to appoint a parttime teaching assistant on a fixedterm basis in the first instance until 31st August 2024.

We seek to employ a member of staff who is flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school.

The role involves working on a 1:1 basis with an EYFS pupil who has a large range of SEND needs including Complex Autism needs.

Key responsibilities include:
Working 1:1 with pupil with range of specific SEND need as required;
Implementing adaptations to learning identified by the class teacher and SENDCo;
Working closely the class teacher
Pastoral Assistant and other Teaching Assistants supporting the pupil.

Experience:
Experience in a school setting is essential
Experience supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable.

Salary : Grade 15
Hours of work : 18.74hrs Monday Friday 8.45 12:30pm. Term time only.
