About Our Client

A UK leading manufacturing and production business within the UK market are growing through organic growth and a number of strategic acquisitions, they now have 25 locations throughout the UK, including 15 manufacturing facilities.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Interim Tax Specialist will be:

• Assist with the submission of UK tax returns to HMRC
• Ensure ongoing compliance with UK corporation tax (CT) rules
• Assist with ensuring taxes due for companies outside the group payment arrangement are paid accurately
• Liaise with external advisers (both the UK and overseas) on managing UK and international tax compliance.
• Provide support on cross border tax issues
• Assist with the end-to-end production of the year end consolidated tax charge
• Prepare the tax charge for Group entities for the half and full-year results
• Forecasting and budgeting

The Successful Applicant

The successful Interim Tax Specialist will be:

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CTA)
• Technical knowledge of UK tax and UK IFRS / GAAP
• Tax compliance experience (e.g. CbCR)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
