Job description
As an Area Manager, the post holder is vital in delivering MindWise’s vision by leading, managing, & developing a transformation agenda that meets client needs.

Location: Blended home and office-based working, based at Head Office, Pinewood House, 46 Newforge Lane, Belfast with travel throughout NI and occasionally ROI and UK
Hours: 37.5 hours
Starting Salary: £38,245
Salary Range: £38,245 - £41,524 (Grade 7)
Duration: Permanent (subject to sustainable development of service portfolio), with six months probationary period
Closing date: 12 noon, Friday 15th March 2024

What we ask for from you:
Hold a third level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent e.g. Social Work, Social Care or Business.
Minimum of three years recent experience at a senior management level, in a relevant field.
Minimum of three years’ experience managing staff performance to achieve high standards of service delivery & lead an effective team.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience of developing, monitoring, and controlling operational budgets, aiming to secure best value.
Able to demonstrate experience of leading on continuous improvement (cost, quality, impact).
Demonstrates Knowledge and awareness of the issues affecting those with mental health issues, their support network e.g. families/ carers relating to one or more of the portfolios.
A working knowledge of the issues affecting people experiencing mental health issues, their support network e.g. families/ carers relating to one or more of the portfolios.
The ability to demonstrate alignment with MindWise’s core values of Passion, Respect, Empathy, Togetherness, Openness & Transparency
