We wish to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic Teacher to the post of Assistant Head of Primary Phase for responsibility for Teaching and Learning to join the Primary Phase of our school from September 2024. This post is offered on a job share basis working 3 days a week (0.6fte).
The successful candidate could also choose to work an additional 2 days a week (0.4fte) as a classroom teacher in the primary phase.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the career professional development and training processes, including Initial Teacher Training, in the Primary Phase and a willingness to be trained as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Prendergast Vale School is a small all through school providing high quality education from nursery to Year 11, which aims to transform the lives of all the children who attend our school. The Primary Phase is one form entry. By keeping the school small, we have created a community of pupils and teachers where no pupil is left behind and has enabled us to create an environment in which pupils want to learn, achieve and behave well.
