Job description
We are currently looking for an ERP Specialist to bolster our team.
Purpose of the position
To continually enhance the performance of our ERP system and integrations by monitoring and collaborating with the business to deliver enhancements and improve processes. To design, create and implement suitable solutions, liaising with relevant Stakeholders to minimise disruption and maximise benefit.
Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostic testing and analysis of the ERP system to identify any areas for improvement and to optimise performance.
- Developing user friendly solutions in response to incidents, service and change requests.
- Configuration of ERP applications and writing customised scripts as required.
- Monitoring and development of integrations and writing API calls as required.
Tasks:
- Providing technical support and training ERP end-users.
- Documenting ERP processes and preparing progress reports for ongoing projects.
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Working with business functions to build and test the latest ERP upgrades and offerings.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects.

Technical Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of IFS Apps10 and/or IFS Cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP development tools and coding language (including PL SQL)
- Knowledge of Crystal reporting.
Education:
- Essential - ITIL Foundation certification in IT Service Management.
- Essential - Oracle Database 12c R2: SQL and PL/SQL Fundamentals or equivalent.
- Desirable - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, computer science or similar.
Experience:
- At least 3 years experience as an ERP Specialist in a service / maintenance industry.
- At least 3 years experience of working within a multi-skilled support team.
- At least 2 years experience developing and managing custom integrations in an ERP system.
Additional local needs
Occasional travel to our other locations may be required at times.
