Job Title: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Part-time, on-going
Salary: Daily pay from £87.04 per day
Axcis Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant educational community. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher, creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for our youngest students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Classroom Support: Assist the EYFS teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities that align with the EYFS framework.
• Individualized Support: Provide targeted support to children with diverse learning needs, ensuring inclusivity and fostering a positive learning experience for all students.
• Resource Management: Help organize and maintain a stimulating learning environment, including the preparation of educational materials and resources.
• Behaviour Management: Contribute to creating a safe and positive atmosphere in the classroom by assisting with behaviour management and reinforcing positive behaviour.
• Communication: Foster effective communication with parents, relaying information about students' progress and well-being.
• Outdoor and Play Activities: Facilitate and supervise outdoor play and learning activities, promoting physical development and social interaction.
• Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of students' progress, attendance, and any relevant observations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Previous experience working in an Early Years setting or as a teaching assistant is desirable.
• A passion for supporting the educational and social development of young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient and nurturing approach to working with young learners.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and a resilient personality, with a creative and flexible approach to teaching which builds success through challenge, personalisation and innovation.
