The Post

You will be an enthusiastic, experienced Construction Industry professional with a successful and demonstrable background in management and delivery of minor construction and fit-out works (notional value c. £10k - £2m) capital projects.

You will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of minor works projects in line with the University’s Capital Investment Plan under the direction of the Head of Estate Development. In addition, you will contribute to space management of the estate including managing audits of space usage, recording space usage and through minor works project manage individual and departmental moves.

The University’s property portfolio extends across some 330 acres with a footprint of over 150,000sqm including academic, research, residential and commercial properties. In addition, the University owns commercial property at the Stirling University Innovation Park and at its Institute of Aquaculture field stations. Within the portfolio there are a number of properties where the University has interests as landlord and tenant, tenant liaison will also be a part of this role.

The Estates & Campus Services (E&CS) Directorate at the University of Stirling comprises three divisions: Property Management (property, land and hard FM); Facilities (Soft FM); and Safety, Environment & Continuity.
