Operations Manager
Interested in speaking with Operations Managers / Factory Managers / Head of Operations who have a proven track record of managing large and complex food manufacturing sites. This role will be no walk in the park but represents a fantastic opportunity to play a critical part in running the most prestigious site within this food manufacturing group – therefore I am only interested in speaking with the best and those with the strength of character and resolve to continue to uphold the sites traditions of delivering an exceptional product coupled with outstanding service to a very demanding customer
A dynamic Operations Manager you will assume full autonomy for the running of this fast paced and complex facility with an approx. turnover of more than £75m.
Reporting directly into the Head of Operations you will have a degree of ownership and autonomy which is second to none. With full accountability for the day to day running of the site operation you will be tasked with delivering the budget through sales, innovation and managing plant, people and equipment.
As the Operational figure head, you will be an inspirational and charismatic leader with a number of direct reports across the operational piece and responsibility for over 300 people. With a flair for management, you will have an inclusive management style which easily gains the buy from all, whilst being able to influence across the greater business.
Inherent in any senior role is the ability to drive cultural and operational change and as such you will have a track record of success of delivering sustainable change through Lean Manufacturing principles.
To be considered for this role you will be an existing General Manager / Site Manager / Site Director / Operations Manager with a proven track record of delivering success within a fast-paced food manufacturing background which is a prerequisite.
