Job description
The Motability Foundation provides grant toward the cost of driving lessons for people who qualify through the Motability Scheme, including specialist instruction on the use of heavily adapted vehicles as part of a persons everyday mobility. Driving lessons are currently provided through a service contract with the AA Driving School. This contract is due for renewal in January 2025.
This role is a Fixed Term Contract for six months to oversee the procurement and contracting of an appropriate service provider through an open tender exercise following the Motability Foundation Procurement Policy and recognised best practice.

What will make you great in this role?
You will have a strong track record of successfully delivering procurement projects. You will be a team player, with previous experience of leading successful procurement projects.
You will understand and demonstrate the need for accurate record keeping, following a clear procurement workplan and providing relevant reports to the Motability Foundation team.
You will be expected to work to our values, being collaborative, respectful and evolving and as such, fully contribute to team initiatives and team meetings, helping others and treating everyone fairly and with respect.

Motability Foundation
At Motability Foundation we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. We oversee the Motability Foundation Scheme and provide grants to help people use it, providing access to transport to hundreds of thousands of people a year.
