Job Title: Casual Care Worker / Personal Assistant

Rate of Pay: £10.90 Gross per hour increasing to £12.00 in April.

Hours: Holiday cover (working pattern to be discussed)

Location: Tullibody

Applicants must have membership of Protection Of Vulnerable Groups or be willing to join this scheme

The employer is looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring personal assistant for their adult daughter who has learning difficulties and hearing loss, to support with social activities.

Experience of Makaton would be desirable, but not essential.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and use of own car.

The role involves assistance with a variety of tasks including, but not exclusive of:
• Support getting to / from activities and during the activity, such as swimming, cinema, café etc
• Support and encourage to actively participate meaningfully in the chosen activities.
• Support to make correct payments for the activity / use of automated order points etc
• Support communication of questions / instructions in a way the person understands.
• Any other duties that are relevant and pertinent to the role of personal assistant.
