Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Day Rate: £130 - £200 per day
Axcis Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established school in Huddersfield for a dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons to meet the specific needs of students with SEN.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to both students and parents.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a mainstream school setting.
Strong understanding of different learning needs and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
