Job description
Digital Hardware Engineer -railway Signalling Control Systems. We require a Digital Hardware Engineer for the Design, development and implementation of digital hardware and firmware for railway signalling control systems. Preparation of hardware / firmware development plans Interfacing with software team Debugging and troubleshooting Serial and parallel bus interfaces, UARTs, USB, SPI, I2C etc., design analysis – timing diagrams etc. Working to process, working from and creating requirements / test specifications, design and code reviews, configuration / version control. Memory technologies, embedded software and operating systems, setting up test and development environments, V&V, characterisation of HW. You would need to be prepared to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
