Flame Health’s Optometry Division are recruiting for an ambitious and self-motivated Optometrist who is being sought in the South Wales area to join one of the leading optical groups.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop clinically. Our client has a proven track record in developing and providing excellent career paths for individuals through their recognised training and development channels. The practice is complemented by a large and supportive team, which includes 9 other resident Optometrists.
The team will assist you in your optometric duties; they will complete the field screening and pressures of each patient for you with testing times between 25 or 30 minutes - flexible dependent on experience and salary.
You will discover state-of-the-art equipment and an air-conditioned environment, ensuring that you are as comfortable as possible, Pre-test suites include 3x OCT, 2x fundus camera, IOPs, autorefraction, pachymetry, keratometry and 2x Humphrey fields. Consulting rooms are all longform with Nidek phoropters and combi unit mounted slit lamps.
Services provided include: Sight tests, Contact lens fitting and checks, Wales Eyecare Services, Independent Prescribing Optometry Service, Community Shared Care Glaucoma Service, Community Shared care Diabetic Retinopathy Service, Community Wet AMD Referral Refinement & Discharge Service
The strong and dynamic optometrist team is complemented with colleagues who are extremely active in all areas of optometry including hospital and university work and extended clinical skills carrying out enhanced services and accreditation events. Together a cohesive team deliver a fully tailored service to patients.
The practice can support both commercial and clinically driven progression for the right candidate. In return, DOE, you will receive a highly competitive salary package of 60K+ a Significant Welcome/Relocation Bonus.
