Essential Criteria:
- Ideally GCSE's or equivalent.
- General literacy at a level to read and understand procedural manuals and provide written detailed reports.
- Basic Health and Safety knowledge in a gardening environment, especially in the use of associated equipment.
- Previous experience of dealing with the public (preferably in a service delivery environment) and some awareness/experience of technical/janitorial work.
- Gardening Experience.

Role Description:
This position requires someone to cover absences in the team, primarily focusing on gardening work with the teams at various sites. Additionally, the role involves first-level management of team members and their tasks. The successful candidate will oversee the work of 4 staff in Worcester, 2 in Hereford, and 3 in Coventry. The schedule entails 4 days a week dedicated to gardening activities. The ideal candidate will have some managerial experience (charge hand) and must be able to manage tasks effectively while also being hands-on.

The role will be supported by a supervisor and Estates Services Manager, as the Team Leader has been on long-term sick leave. The successful candidate will have use of a company vehicle and must possess a valid driver's license. Although the role requires occasional travel to Hereford to collaborate with the team, the primary focus will be on sites in Worcester.
