Homeline Response Officer

Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and diligent individual to join our team as a Homeline Response Officer. As a Homeline Response Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing rapid response and support for emergency situations within our organization. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities
Respond quickly and effectively to emergency calls and incidents on the Homeline, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.
Coordinate with emergency services, such as police, fire, and medical personnel, to ensure appropriate assistance is provided.
Perform thorough assessments of emergency situations, gathering information and relaying it to the appropriate parties.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of all incidents and responses, ensuring timely and detailed reporting.
Provide support and reassurance to clients in distress, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
Stay up-to-date on relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to emergency response, implementing changes as necessary.
Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for improving emergency response services.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in emergency response or first aid is preferred.
Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to handle emergency situations with professionalism and composure.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals in distress.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, including being on-call for emergency response.
Proficiency in using emergency response equipment, such as alarm systems and communication devices.

Hours Per week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £14.66
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
