Job description
As an IT Application Administrator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the effective operation of our client's applications. Your responsibilities will include deploying, configuring, maintaining, and supporting key software applications essential to their business processes. With a primary focus on core applications like Customer Relationship Management and the Contract Centre tool, you will address user incidents, fulfil service requests, and escalate issues to the development team as needed. Additionally, you will ensure the security of all applications, ensuring appropriate access and maintaining the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of our information.
Summary of Responsibilities and Duties
Application Deployment and Configuration:
Install and configure software applications to ensure they work seamlessly with existing systems.
Work with development teams for smooth deployment and updates of applications.
Monitoring and Maintenance:
Keep an eye on application performance, addressing any issues that arise to maintain optimal functionality.
Carry out regular maintenance tasks like updates and patches to ensure applications run smoothly.
Core Application Administration:
Manage the daily operations of core applications such as Customer Relationship Management and the Contact Centre, including user accounts, workflows, templates, reports, data corrections, and settings adjustments.
Engage with stakeholders to gather business needs and enhance CRM and Contact Centre features.
User Support:
Offer prompt technical assistance to users facing application issues.
Lead training sessions for users to improve their understanding and efficient use of applications.
Security and Compliance:
Implement strict security measures for applications to protect sensitive information.
Maintain compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Documentation:
Keep documentation for application setups, problem-solving methods, and user manuals current and detailed.
Collaboration:
Work alongside various teams, including developers, system administrators, IT Service Desk, and business units.
Contribute to the planning and execution of new application-related projects.
Performance Optimization:
Seek and apply enhancements to boost application performance and user experience.
Key skills and experiences we are looking for:
Demonstrated expertise in Application Administration or comparable positions.
Proficient with CRM systems like Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalents.
Experience with Contact Centre technologies, including Amazon Connect or similar platforms.
Well-versed in security protocols and compliance guidelines.
Skilled in deploying and managing large-scale business applications.
Knowledgeable in implementing Single-Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication setups.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, alongside notable interpersonal skills.
Capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team.
Familiar with ITIL frameworks, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving competencies.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
