WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Procurement Professional - Commodity Management (Machining and Fabrication)
- Procurement Professional - Commodity Management (Electrical Commodities)
- Procurement Professional (In Service Support)
- Project Procurement Professional
The Procurement Professional will contribute to the performance of Procurement team to deliver benefits in terms of Quality, Cost Reduction, Supplier Management, Continuous Improvement and Innovation. The person is required to provide operational procurement activities of sourcing, order placement, expediting, invoice clearance and continuous management of supplier performance and relationships with the objective of maximising performance against Key Performance Indicators.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Works as a member of the functional team to provide Procurement capability and deployment of Commodity strategies whilst meeting the operational needs of RBSL and maximising performance against agreed Key Performance Indicators
- As a member of the Procurement team and community within a business / function will manage the effective deployment of Procurement processes
- Responsible for discharging procurement requirements through the full lifecycle of the RBSL business utilising core ERP tool SAP where necessary, whilst ensuring that SHE remains central to the task
- Providing an excellent internal customer experience, through functional and supplier performance and embedding a culture of continuous improvement
- Contributing to an environment that is oriented towards the highest ethical standards, trust, open communication and creative thinking
- Championing SHE performance and quality within the RBSL supply chain
- Take an active role in participation of partnering activities with key suppliers, and support the development of long term supplier strategies & relationships
- Understand and implement “supplier management” ethos/culture/processes
- Must be cognisant of and have ability to undertake and participate in the creation and execution of legally-binding contractual documents. (Non-Disclosure Agreement’s, Terms and Conditions) Training Provided).
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Expertise in Supply chain knowledge for specific commodities.
- Knowledgeable in processes utilised by supply chain in manufacture of goods or services provided.
- Ability to quickly deliver Requests for Tender activities and demonstrate expertise in the assessment process thereof.
- SAP general knowledge.
- Interest in Customer / Supplier relationship and development of skill sets to manage same.
- Ability to negotiate with Suppliers.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Procurement role in delivering commodity management benefits to the organisation.
- Highly motivated and self-disciplined, with the ability to work autonomously, under the minimum of supervision.
- Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, dealing with escalations and facilitating discussions with different stakeholder groups to address conflicting requirements and priorities
- Ability to manage and develop mutually beneficial Supplier relationships.
- Utilisation of SAP – Procurement Module Training provided
- May provide training/advice to new team members
