Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Compliance Leadership: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Lead efforts to implement and maintain strong internal controls.
- Audit Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external audit teams, preparing for and managing audit processes to ensure successful outcomes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial and compliance risks, implementing strategies to safeguard the organisation's financial health.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is a requirement.
- Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, GAAP, and IFRS.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
