Job Description
The responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:
- Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimisation
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Analyst should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- A Finance Qualification - ACCA/ACA/CIMA/
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial software applications
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
