Scheme Manager
Littleport, Ely

We have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our Housing Operations team, based in Ely. As a Scheme Manager you will be responsible for providing a high-quality housing management service which will include providing tenancy advice, following up repairs for residents and promoting independent living. This is a rewarding role and is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working with older people in a housing management or care setting and aware of safeguarding concerns.
The role of Scheme Manager will include:
- Supporting residents by providing information to promote independence
- Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
- Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion
- Delivering high quality customer service by resolving problems and complaints
- Maintaining accurate records about residents and the scheme
- Covering other schemes as and when required
Skills and experiences:
- Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
- Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
- Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
- Good interpersonal and customer care skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
