Job description
We have built a novel website to help young people affected by mental illness. We have taken an Amazon or Booking.com model and instead of selling products or hotel rooms we are using AI to promote the right mental health resources.
What will you be doing?We are looking for a volunteer to assist us to maintain appropriate professional standards in what we are doing and to provide advice about the resources we are and could promote. We are looking for a clinician, this might be a psychologist, psychiatrist, doctor, nurse, counselor, social worker or another professional working in mental health.
What are we looking for?We are looking for a good communicator with both adults and young people. We think this is a great opportunity to help young people affected by mental illness meeting them where they spend a lot of their time – online.
What difference will you make?We want to ensure that our website is safe whilst reaching as many young people affected by mental illness as possible. We currently receive a Google Adwords grant of $10,000 per month that will help drive traffic to the site, we have a link to EMIS who provide 60% of GPs with their desktop software and we want to allow other organisations, NHS trusts or other charities, to put their branding on the website so that we can reach more people.
