Fast Fitter
Sydenham Road Fast Fit
Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm, Saturday on a Rota Basis 8am - 12pm (one in two)
upto £35,600k OTE (including basic salary starting from £26k - £32k + £3,600 bonus)
Charles Hurst, Belfast is recruiting for a Fast Fitter to join their fantastic workshop. While working alongside our other experienced technicians, you will play a vital role, carrying out motor vehicle fitters repair and replace worn or damaged tyres, exhausts, batteries and parts.
Here at Charles Hurst, you will be reporting to the accomplished James Thompson, the FastFit Manager, where you will be given on-going support to ensure that you have the tools needed to be able to perform to the very best! Our technicians play a vital role within our Service team by delivering first class customer service every time. We want you to be part of our success. If you’re a qualified Vehicle Technician or an experienced Mechanic, whether you work in a dealer group or independent garage we want to hear from you!
Test batteries and other parts of an engine
Check tyres and exhausts
Replace or repair faulty parts
Balance and re-align wheels
Check a vehicle's tracking
Repair punctures
Basic Servicing
Exhaust, Brakes and Suspension replacement
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a workshop. You'll be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, while being able to work to the highest standards. You will require a full UK driving licence and completion of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification. Having previous experience of working with the brand would be advantageous, although not essential as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
