Job Description
Currently seeking an Account Manager - Heavy Industry to join our dynamic Commercial department in a rapidly expanding and stimulating work environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the commercial relationship between my client and customers, ensuring that the voice of the customer is effectively communicated within our internal teams. Serving as the primary point of contact between customers and company delivery and support teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful commercial outcomes of projects while adhering to or surpassing budgetary constraints.
The Account manager will be:
- Collaborating with the Programme team to analyze Earned Value Management and project costing/accounting
- Preparing detailed reports and presenting recommendations to management and stakeholders
- Working closely with Finance business partners to track portfolio performance against company budgets, identifying trends, and producing accurate forecasts
- Developing relationships with new clients, managing existing client relationships, and expanding partnerships to drive revenue growth
- Managing customer order management and reporting within the Account Management and Commercial Team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Account Manager should have:
- A solid record in a commercial, account management or business development role within Engineering, Automotive, Off High Way Tier 1 sectors
- Proven experience in sales or customer service.
- Strong understanding of the technical environments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.
