Job description

Gi Group are looking for a Stores Person for our client in Mansfield specialising in distribution pipelines. The role consists of working in the busy stores department as part of a small team. The location is easily accessible from surrounding areas via public transport, and is just a short walk from Mansfield bus station.

Shift pattern: 8 hours day shift Monday to Friday. Working hours are 9am - 5pm but flexibility may be required. Overtime is available over 40 hours.

Pay rate: £12.00 per hour

Stores Person duties include:
- Receiving and handling goods inwards
- Using computers to keep track of deliveries and shipments
- Unloading deliveries
- Picking and packing orders for both domestic and international shipment
- General stores work as and when needed
- Keeping workplace safe and tidy

The successful Stores Person:
- Must have an external, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence
- Must be physically fit and happy to do some heavy lifting
- Must be able to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative
- Keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work accurately to deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Must have basic IT knowledge
