Trust Tax Consultant - Worthing

We are looking for a Trust Tax Consultant for our clients based in Worthing, Sussex. The Trust Tax Consultant will initially be supporting a Trust Taxation Manager; however, will move towards managing their own allocated client base. 

With a Trust and Estate department, who support the legal and administrative needs of the clients, a lot of the taxation work you will do will also support mutual clients. Work will include but will not be limited to:

· Completion of Trust and Estate Self-Assessment returns

· Inheritance Tax reporting on Trust principal and exit charges

· Estate income tax and CGT

· CGT calculations on sales and appointments from Trusts, as part of planning and advisory work

Previous experience in Trust taxation is ideal however not a requirement. You will however understand what it means to work in Trust taxation, and if you do not have previous Trust taxation experience, you will have worked in personal taxation. 

Essential Criteria 

· ATT Qualified (fully or part) or studying towards a STEP qualification. 

· 3 Years’ experience of personal taxation or Trust taxation experience

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Experience with Microsoft Teams/Video Calls

· Proven experience in maintaining client relationships

· Excellent analytical and time management skills with attention to detail

We currently operate an agile working policy providing flexibility in terms of office hours and homeworking. This role is full-time (36.25 hours per week) but we are happy to talk flexible working
