Job description

MC Repairs Ltd in Blackpool are recruiting for an Apprentice Dental Equipment Repair Technician. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative qualification which will take approximately 14 months to complete.

Job Details:
• The job role will be a mix of admin duties and small dental equipment repairs
• Working within the Dental Industry, liaising with customers and suppliers from our workshop in Blackpool
This job entails the processes of repairing dental equipment as follows;
• Testing/Diagnosis of faults with equipment
• Customer liaison of quotations – telephone/emails
• Ultrasonic cleaning of equipment
• Picking components/stock control
• Re-assembly of equipment
• Final testing before despatch to meet ISO Standards

Requirements:
• An interest in electronics, model making, intricate engineering
• Good initiative and problem-solving skills
• Highly effective communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and perform effectively under pressure
• Confidentiality required in all aspects of the role

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm / 1 hour unpaid lunch / 37.5 hours per week
