Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Executive to join our Sales team in promoting and selling our services. Within the role there will be a requirement to have both tankering and welfare experience. The role will be regional, and therefore a full UK driving licence will be necessary. This is a pivotal role and will be the interface between the Sales and Office teams to ensure seamless service for our clients.
Key Responsibilities and Main Duties
- Responsible for the day to day running of the sales department, providing prompt responses to queries
- Identify and secure new opportunities for the Company’s services within both new and existing clients
- Establish relationships and build a rapport with clients
- Establish the service specifications of new business in order for quotation to be prepared and the work to be carried out safely, in an environmentally sound manner and in compliance with applicable HSE regulations ensuring they are clearly transferred to the relevant teams
- Maintain an awareness of the latest trends and technologies within the industry, as well as gathering an understanding of competitor activity
- Ensure accurate analysis and reporting on performance
- Effectively liaise with internal departments to ensure we deliver the client’s requirements in line with their expectations, to ensure service levels are maintained
- Maintain clear communication with the client throughout the project to ensure changes are known
- Issue relevant invoices and communicate effectively to ensure the agreed fees are received in a timely manner

Start date: February/March
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience
