Job description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a packaging company for a Sales Representative / Business Development Manager to cover the North and Midlands areas.
The role will also involve monthly visits to the central Huddersfield office.
Responsibilities
- Attend client meetings regularly
- Generate leads from scratch
- Convert cold introductions into new business meetings
- Develop and map your marketplace territory
- Provide consulting on structural engineering and print specifications
- Follow up on leads and opportunities
- Sell a variety of printed packaging solutions
- Liaise with estimating and submit quotes
- Maintain regular contact with clients via phone and face-to-face meetings
- Close new business deals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Report to the Sales Director
Requirements
- Experience in selling printed packaging or related print media
- Strong cold calling, consultative selling and closing skills
- Proficiency in the full sales cycle with consistent activity
- Experience in selling printed packaging or related print media
- Experience in B2B account management
- Field sales experience
- Full driving license
- Professional and confident communicator
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong IT skills and adaptability to new software and systems
- Willingness to assist in various tasks outside of regular duties
