Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a leading name in UK main contracting. The Construction Project Manager will be a key player within a busy and growing site based team and will play an important role in the delivery of a 100m project near to Worcester.
The Construction Project Manager will be working closely with stakeholders, external consultants, the design team, planners, quantity surveyors and the site team throughout each stage of the project, ensuring it follows the programme and remains within budget. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the project planning and scheduling process by developing comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, schedule and budget
- Regularly review and update the project plans to accommodate changes and mitigate risks
- Manage project resources including labour, equipment and materials
- Working closely with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure the availability of resources as needed
- Manage the project budget ensuring that costs are controlled
- Track project expenses, reviewing financial reports and making adjustments as necessary to ensure it remains within budget
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Establish effective communication channels with all project stakeholders including clients, contractors and internal teams
- Provide the client with regular project updates
- Address and resolve any issues and/or concerns relating to the project
The Construction Project Manager can expect a generous salary & package that includes:
- Starting salary of 70,000 to 75,000

Project Managers considering this opportunity will need to have the following experience:
- Rounded background in new build or refurbishment building projects for main contractors
- A good understanding of construction processes & techniques relating projects with contract values of more than 20m
- Proficient in the use of the NEC form of contract
- Excellent communication skills
