Optical Assistant Position
A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Optical Assistant to join a practice based in Harrow. They are looking to add a personable and enthusiastic optical assistant to their team. as well as an optical assistant role a supervisor position is also available paying up to £30k
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
- The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches.
- You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on their options.
- Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.
- Their aim is to continually improve the quality of services offered to their customers through staff training.
Requirements of the Optical Assistant
- My client is looking for applicants with previous optical experience and the ability to dispense glasses to all levels.
- You will have friendly and personable demeanour with a strong personal work ethic.
- It’s essential you have customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Compensation for the Optical Assistant
- For your efforts a competitive salary of £28k – £30k is on offer.
- You will need to be work 9-6pm Mon to Fri and at least one weekend day.
- A team bonus of £250 per month is also available
