We are working in partnership with leading pharmaceutical firm to supply Logistics staff to their National Distribution Centre. D

The detail, these are the bits we need you to be able to do. If not, we may have more suitable opportunities for you elsewhere.

• Shifts patterns are fixed, there are no rotations and there is no compromise. We have a PM shift 1400-2200pm Monday-Friday
• You must have experience on either a PPT/LLOP/P20 or MHE is essential (it might also help if you can drive a vehicle). Full training and refreshers will be provided but due to the fast-paced nature of the business it's important you are a competent driver.
• Only a few, but some products can weigh up to 25kg. If are unable to work in a busy paced, manual working environment this role isn't for you.
• Pay parity from day one, which is unheard of in Northampton. No waiting for 12 weeks.
• Overtime is paid at time + half of the Basic rate after 37.5 hours and double time at the weekends and for any unsociable hours worked.

You will be conducting the following duties:

• Picking Items for dispatch in a timely, accurate manner
• Packaging Items for dispatch to a high-quality standard
• Using a hand scanner to ensure correct stock is dispatched to the correct customer.
• Using a pallet truck or PPT to pick heavier items from the grid.
• Using voice picking to be guided to locations.
• Ensuring all health and safety requirements are always met, wear safety glasses, Hi-Viz and S3 Safety Boots.
• Keeping your work area clean and safe
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
