This market leading global insurance business is on a large scale data transformation journey and is growing their Data Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team within the business working on crucial projects to ensure that the business can reach its goals when it comes to analytics and becoming as data driven as possible. Working with an existing team, you’ll have all the support you need to be successful in this very visible role for the business.

What you’ll be doing

The main goal of this position is to collaborate within the Data Value Management (DVM) Team, aiming to efficiently deliver essential data capabilities to our business clients. These capabilities encompass Data Management, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Master Data Management, and Reference Data Management. We are seeking an experienced data specialist who combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of business concepts. Additionally, effective communication skills and adept stakeholder management are essential for comprehending data needs and driving the UK Data Strategy effectively.

What experience you’ll need to apply

• Solid experience working in a Data Quality/Governance/MDM role
• Understanding of Data Quality/MDM/RDM business processes
• Experience supporting the roll out of data management frameworks
• Hands on SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

This role requires one day a week in their office as a minimum.
