Our client is looking for a Project Planner for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen.
ROLE
The Project Planner will support the Project Manager with all planning deliverables for project. They must support in the overall delivery of the business objectives through the aligning of deliverables to that of the individual Business Unit strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To support and assist Project Manager.
- To support the Project Team in the successful delivery of all work within assigned projects.
- To prioritise workload as required to meet the fluctuating demands of the contract.
- Weekly scope progress collection and system input of weekly progress reports.
- To assist projects in maintaining appropriate professional standards for project execution
- To ensure that the technical work undertaken is consistent with the Discipline's professional standards for the relevant project’s technical complexity.
- To ensure that the project generated documentation reflects a fit-for-purpose plan design and complies with the contract requirements.
- Promote awareness of Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality aspects of discipline of work to achieve fit-for-purpose engineering.
- To review opportunities for self-development through attendance at conferences, courses, seminars with approval of the Planning Team Lead.

REQUIREMENTS
Personal Knowledge
- Two years' Planning experience in a similar relevant role and;
- One years' planning experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Extensive experience in all Access & Coatings activities
- Customer focused.
- IT skills such as, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to demonstrate technical capability.
- Good level of secondary education
- Delivery focussed and committed to achievement of project/company goals.
Personal Qualities Required
- The individual must be proactive, work on their own initiative, be a good team player, and have good leadership and communication skills.
