This is a full-time or Part -time on-site role for a bicycle mechanic working alongside our team. In this role you would be responsible for building, setup and Fixing of bikes of various types, including road, mountain, eBikes, gravel, cyclocross, hybrids, and kids’ bikes.
As part of a local business, you would also prepare bikes for shipping with necessary packaging and paperwork. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of customer bikes. You will be communicating with customers to assess their bike repair needs and provide recommendations for service and maintenance.
You would also be a part of our retail team, this involves helping out customers, and putting items through the till.
Atleast 1 year of mechanics experience.
Atleast 2 years of Retail experience
Experience in Bicycle Repair and building
Knowledge of various Bicycle types and components
Cytech or equivalent technical qualification (minimum of level 1)
Basic computer literacy
Good communicaton with staff and customers.
Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
Ability to work efficiently and independently
Customer service skills and ability to provide recommendations for bike maintenance and repair.
Passion for cycling and eagerness to learn.
