Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Assistant specializing in written communication to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle written correspondence, including emails and letters, with occasional phone communication. The successful candidate will play a key role in addressing GDPR queries, handling complaints, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Written Communication: - Effectively manage written correspondence, including emails and letters, to provide timely and accurate responses.
- Ensure a professional and customer-centric tone in all written communication.
Phone Communication: - Handle phone inquiries professionally and efficiently when required, demonstrating excellent verbal communication skills.
GDPR Queries: - Address GDPR-related queries and concerns in accordance with established protocols.
- Safeguard and manage sensitive customer information in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Complaint Handling: - Investigate and resolve customer complaints, striving for satisfactory resolutions.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate channels and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure resolution.
Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions in the customer service database.
- Provide regular reports to the Head of Compliance on customer service activities and trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with GDPR regulations and their application to customer service.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
