Position: Wash Plant Facility Operative
Reporting To: Yard Controller, Service Manager & Assistant Service Manager
Location: Stratford upon Avon
Salary: £11/h
Job Summary:
To ensure that all the following duties, which are pivotal to the business, meet the needs of all AGD divisions and external customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Control all aspects of the wash facility, including production and maintenance duties.
- Ensure full understanding of the operation and maintenance systems.
- Report any wash facility defects immediately.
- Ensure all equipment is thoroughly cleaned by utilising the wash facility fully with all aspects of the system, i.e. using the spray bars.
- Ensure the wash bay channel is kept clear of debris at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the whole wash area including all waste skips.
- Manage the removal of all waste promptly.
- Assist with managing all loading and unloading of AGD and customer equipment when required to
- Assist in the paint/prep workshop if and when necessary.
Health and Safety:
- Work to health and safety regulations, risk assessments and safe working procedures at all times. Ensure all activities comply with safe working procedures.
