Financial Control Accountant (Contract -6 Months)

Glasgow (Hybrid working)

£200 per day Inside IR35 via PAYE

Seeking a challenging and multifaceted accounting role? If you're a qualified professional with a zest for financial control, this is a great opportunity!

We're on the hunt for an experienced Financial Control Accountant to join our esteemed blue-chip client. You'll immerse yourself in the critical accounting processes that ensure the robust financial governance of their diverse business operations.

In this role, you'll:

• Drive the clients day-to-day financial operations focusing on Opex & Capex.
• Be instrumental in Period end closing & reporting processes.
• Ensure precision in Balance Sheet reconciliations and Statutory Reporting.
• Amplify efficiency through Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Play a pivotal role in Team Development and ensure Continued Compliance.

You will need to bring:

• Qualification from a professional accounting body (CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Profound knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with a firm grasp of IFRS, UK GAAP, and FRS 101.
• Extensive experience in Statutory Accounting, including Financial Controls and Processes.
• Familiarity with ERP software, particularly Oracle, is highly desirable.
