Job description
Manningham Housing Association (MHA) is seeking a skilled and dynamic Data and Performance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in understanding and meeting the strategic and operational business data requirements of the association. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality data management and analysis services.
Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with users to understand key strategic and operational business data requirements.
* Develop and manage high-quality data management and analysis services, providing advice and support across the association.
* Lead data quality processes and assurance initiatives.
* Design and maintain dashboards and automated reports for internal and external stakeholders using SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
* Provide bespoke research and analysis capabilities for internal customers using various data and analysis techniques.
* Contribute to the association’s strategic and business planning processes.
* Compile and contribute to regulatory returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Key Deliverables and Outcomes: * Develop and implement the association’s performance management approach.
* Establish a performance reporting framework for various audiences, including the Board, Committees, Executive, colleagues, and customers.
* Interrogate and report on datasets using data discovery and analysis tools.
* Collate complex data while maintaining data integrity and credibility.
* Deliver bespoke research and analysis capabilities using both internal and external data.
* Facilitate the development of staff members in key tools such as Excel, Word, and Power BI.
* Manage relevant regulatory and benchmarking returns accurately and timely.
* Communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences through various mediums.
Qualifications and Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in a business or IT-related field (e.g., Business Management, Economics, Information Management, Computer Science) or similar Microsoft Data certification.
* Demonstrated achievement in delivering data and analytic services in a comparable organisation.
* Advanced knowledge of data visualisation tools, preferably Power BI.
* Experience working with stakeholders to deliver data-driven decision-making tools.
* Proficiency in research, analysis, and report writing.
* Understanding of Data and Analytics methods.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience: * Experience with SQL, Excel, and Azure data sources.
* Exposure to GDPR and Data Protection governance practices.
* Knowledge of Housing and Housing Applications.
