Job description
The growth in the organisation requires an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to take ownership of the Cluster HR Plan working in partnership with key local leaders to support each in implementing sustainable solutions within their teams which meet organisational and cultural objectives. Spanning across the UK and Ireland the Birds Eye Region is currently accountable for c€875m NS employing c200 team members. We have ambitious plans for 2024 and need someone who is motivated by that ambition on board to support our plans to deliver.
Acts as an effective Business Partner
Partners with our Commercial Leadership Teams and line managers, being a proactive member of our Management Teams, actively participating in driving business performance.
Acts and a coach and confident to Functional Leadership Teams as required.
Supports with the delivery of HR Strategy and Local People Plan
Ensures that Nomad Foods HR Strategy is applied consistently across the Cluster by influencing and supporting leaders to actively adopt and sponsor annual HR cycle and in year HR initiatives.
Works with Cluster HR Manager to translate local business needs into clearly articulated organisational and people needs and feed these into the relevant HR COEs in a timely way so that these can be factored into the HR strategy
Supports the Cluster HR Manager to implement appropriate and compliant local People Plans which meet the specific needs of the Cluster and/or Markets.
Data and Insights
Uses data and insights to ensure we understand key performance and key risk indicators, advising on relevant actions required to manage performance and risk. Utilises analytical skills to gather and review data, identifies trends and underlying causes, and supports Cluster HR Manager to form solutions which enhance the experience of individuals and teams across the Cluster. Takes ownership of accurate HR data management and operational delivery of all HR systems in market. Shares responsibility with Cluster HR Manager for HR data accuracy in Cluster markets and aligning to One Nomad approach for technology and data standards.
Supports a proactive Cluster Talent Management Plan
Partners with the Cluster HR Manager and functional leadership teams to ensure the Cluster has the right talent now and for the future. Works with local leaders a and utilises Talent CoE tools to develop a succession plan and pipeline of Commercial Talent across the Cluster. Supports the identification of talent with the required capabilities to progress. Ensures relevant plans are in place to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent in critical roles including the availability of the resources to meet team and individual aspirations. Acts as local champion and coach for local talent as required.
Team Development
Coach, develop and support the HR Advisor to create a best in class team. Ensure skills, motivation and capabilities are in place to develop HR talent pipeline and succession plans for HR Advisor.
Consistent excellent execution of HR initiatives and policies in line with local legislation and One Nomad policies
Takes responsibility for the excellent execution across all aspects of the employee lifecycle and in year initiatives in line with both Global standards and local legislative requirements. Works in partnership with Cluster HR Manager, HR CoEs and Central HRBPs to ensure a consistent employee experience across the total organisation.
Supports the successful management of business change within the Cluster
Supports the Cluster HR Manager to implement a change management plan for the Cluster, ensuring that local cultural and legislative requirements are highlighted and addressed. Inspiring and coaching functional Leaders in implementing change.
Contributes to the development of business cases including rationale, costs and benefits for local functional needs.
Utilises Nomad Change Management tools and methodologies to understand the people and organisational impact of each change initiative and support the Cluster HR Manager to deliver relevant mitigating actions such as stakeholder engagement plans, communication plans, training plans etc to embed and sustain the change.
Custodian of Nomad Operating Model and organisation design
Supports the Cluster HR Manager in the implementation of the Nomad operating model and blueprint into local Cluster and Market structures in accordance with organisation strategy and design principles, to deliver the required simplification and efficiencies. Works with functional leadership teams to ensure the embedding of both structural and ways of working changes.
Essential
Educated to degree level (CIPD or similar)
Experience partnering senior stakeholders within matrix organisation
HR Generalist experience in FMCG or Retail Experience
Demonstrative evidence of being a true business partner, delivering business improvement
