Veterinary Surgeon Staffordshire

Purovets are searching for a dedicated veterinary surgeon to join the team at an expanding independent practice that prides itself on exceptional customer service and taking care of their fantastic staff of veterinary professionals as well as they take care their patients.

You will play a crucial role in our client's second successful venture, showcasing their expertise in running a thriving small animal practice. Join their close-knit family and become an integral part of a practice group recognised for its excellence by the RCVS. You will be working with six experienced vets and 12 wonderful nurses and support staff in a fantastic new site, which is a historic building that has been refurbished and purpose-built for excellent veterinary care.

For our client, both their dedicated staff and cherished clients, along with their beloved pets, take centre stage. Experience a dynamic and supportive environment where a diverse team brings various interests and experiences to the table. Customer service and case continuity are paramount, and they set themselves apart by not only maintaining high clinical standards but also excelling in customer service. Their fully-equipped facility will boast cutting-edge technology, including an In-house laboratory, digital X-ray and Ultrasound, showcasing their commitment to excellence. There will also be monthly referral visits from a mobile CT unit.

You will mostly working at the new site, but you should be flexible if cover is needed at the main site 30 minutes away. The team of experienced vets perform soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics and ophthalmology all on-site, so an interest in any of these would be of great interest. They will soon be adding dentistry to this. They pride themselves on looking after their staff and their open and transparent culture; regular staff surveys are conducted that allow you to have a real impact on how you and your colleagues operate.

You will be working in Tamworth, a historic town in Staffordshire, England that is renowned for its rich heritage and distinctive medieval architecture, including Tamworth Castle. Famous for its annual Tamworth Castle Grounds, the town boasts vibrant cultural events, lively markets, and scenic parks, making it a charming destination for history enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The town is well-connected by road networks, including the M42 motorway, offering convenient access to major cities like Birmingham. Additionally, Tamworth Railway Station provides frequent services, enhancing connectivity for commuters and visitors alike.
