Senior Support Worker

We are on the lookout for Senior Support Workers who are calm, patient, and resilient. You will need to be able to drive andhave a consistent approach to assisting the people we support to engage in the interests they love.
Furthermore, as Senior Support Workeryou will:
We are looking for someone who can devote 37.5 hours per week and are willing to work on a shift rota basis, covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Who will you be supporting?
At Fir Tree Lodge, we support 10 people with learning and physical disabilities, sight loss, complex health conditions including epilepsy, cerebral palsy and autism.
The people we support enjoy going out for fun activities such as day trips to the seaside or to music concerts, bowling, accessible adventure playground, discos and the Active Life Centre! They also enjoy the comfort of their own home, each bedroom has a fully accessible ensuite bathroom, we also have a separate hydro-bath. They also watch movies, love cooking/baking (and tasting the end result!), gardening for the lovely smells from the herbs and flowers, foot spa and pamper sessions, sensory sessions and stories.
Each person we support has access to the Penney Centre, located next door, which includes activity/therapy rooms such as a Sensory Room, Music Room, Art & Craft room and Cooking area.
