Job description
Fountain Head House School opened its doors as a Special Educational Needs Independent school in September 2021. Not only are we a new school but we are also a growing school, currently we have 50 pupils growing towards 60 pupils, covering an age range from 4-16 years old.
Fountain Head House school has bespoke approaches to learning, and we provide our pupils with fulfilling and meaningful experiences that prepare them for the next steps in their education and skills for life.
Fountain head House School is situated in Saltash. Pupils, Parents and Staff all work together to ensure that life in school is enriching and memorable and that pupils are well prepared to lead a full, active and productive life.
We focus on what our pupils can do and our learning packages are pupil focussed, flexible, and creative. Our staff team are highly committed to the school and the pupils, they offer a wide range of skills.
As a teaching assistant at Fountain Head House School you will be supporting pupils with special education needs, to engage in a creative timetable of education. We are on the lookout for enthusiastic, approachable, flexible and experienced teaching assistant who are open to learning our creative way of education for our SEN pupils.
Our school is built on great teamwork and mutual support. The successful candidate will be required to work alongside various class teachers and teaching assistants and have experience of supporting children with complex and multiple learning needs is desirable, along with the confidence to manage emotional or behavioural difficulty.
